FAQs

Candidates need an MBBS (or BDS for Dentistry) degree recognised by PMC/PMDC with valid registration, plus completion of a one-year house job in a PMC/CPSP-approved teaching hospital before the exam date. A valid house job certificate and PMC registration must be submitted at time of application.

CPSP offers Postgraduate Fellowship (FCPS) across specialties including Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Psychiatry, ENT, Obstetrics-Gynaecology, and allied fields, as well as Membership (MCPS) programs in various clinical disciplines for eligible graduates.

No separate national-level MCQ exam is universally required for MCPS; admission depends on institutional merit lists, credentials, and interviews, and varies by teaching hospital.

Applicants need attested copies of their MBBS/BDS degree (or provisional certificate), PMC/PMDC registration, house job certificate, CNIC, and passport-size photos. Government employees also need an NOC (if applicable) and valid domicile or employer clearance.

Training sessions often begin in January or July, depending on the specialty and institutional allotment.
